Coaching

His coaching philosophy combines technical instruction, strategic analysis, and a passion for creating enjoyable on-court experiences that foster lifelong participation in the game. Throughout his career, he has guided junior players to varsity high school tennis, helped competitive athletes achieve success in Middle States tournaments and platform tennis leagues, and introduced countless adults to racquet sports through beginner-friendly programming.

In addition to his coaching accomplishments, Cam has pioneered successful pickleball programs, organized community-focused events and leagues, and led the growth of racquet sports programs across multiple disciplines. His goal is to help every player—regardless of age or experience—improve their skills, achieve their goals, and develop a lasting love for the game.

Competing

Cam brings a unique combination of high-level playing experience, analytical expertise, and a passion for player development across tennis, platform tennis, and pickleball. A graduate of Oberlin College, where he earned High Honors in Mathematics and Computer Science, Cam was an All-Conference tennis player who competed at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles while serving as team captain and earning NCAA All-Academic honors throughout his collegiate career. Prior to college, he was one of the top junior players in the Mid-Atlantic section, achieving Top 20 singles rankings in the 14U, 16U, and 18U divisions and earning the No. 1 doubles ranking in each age group.

In platform tennis, Cam has competed at the highest levels of the sport, achieving a Top 20 national ranking alongside partner Trevor Heck. His competitive experience includes victories and close matches against many of the nation's best players, including earning sets off national champions Mark Powers and Guillermo Nuñez. Drawing from his extensive competitive background and analytical training academically, Cam combines technical expertise, strategic insight, and an engaging teaching style to help players of all ages and skill levels achieve their goals while developing a lifelong love of racquet sports.
